PRINCESS MAR Posted August 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2005 This is our first time for a balcony on Princess, and we have a Lido Deck cabin on Caribbean Princess. The location is great, as we had an inside Lido on the Golden. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has stayed in one these cabins. I understand the balcony is covered, but what type of furniture is on them? I have seen pictures of other balconies, and furniture varied from loungers, to high back reclining chairs, to short plastic chairs with tables. Pictures would be great, but any info would be greatly appreciated! Happy sailing Mary Jo
cherylandtk Posted August 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2005 I believe the standard balcony furniture is two regular chairs and table. Loungers and high back chairs (which recline and might be substitures for full loungers?) only fit on the larger balconies (Caribe, afts, and suites). PRINCESS MAR Posted August 21, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted August 21, 2005 Thank you, cherylandtk for the quick reply. I thought that might be the case, but was hoping I was wrong. The high back chairs would be much more comfortable than the standard chair - maybe the cabin steward would be of some help! Mary Jo
cherylandtk Posted August 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2005 Possibly the steward could help, they really don't take up any more space (at least not much) and if you ask early enough in the cruise, he or she might be able to find a couple unused ones and replace your regular chairs. Doesn't hurt to ask, and if they come through for you, give them a nice tip as a reward.
