texasreb Posted October 19, 2016 #51 Share Posted October 19, 2016 Speaking of Zika mosquitos and virus. A researcher at UNC Health Goldsboro say his findings are that the virus, if real, and microcephaly are from a selenium deficient diet. FWIW I added selenium to my diet. Looks like Harvest Caye is still set for first docking Nov 15.

texasreb Posted October 23, 2016 #55 Share Posted October 23, 2016 looks like the sail and sign card can be used for payment on Harvest Caye. Like BUYING food. My question: Does the onboard beverage package cover the booze on the island ?
Deptacon Posted October 23, 2016 #56 Share Posted October 23, 2016 No one knows yet. Assumptions are now as they didn't get a liquor permit (from what i heard) Some food supposedly will be provided, some available for purchase Sent from my iPhone using Forums
the_dylaness Posted October 23, 2016 #57 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Just booked a cabana for next year. Very excited! Can't wait to see a map of the cabanas and reviews to find out which one we want.
Uniall Posted October 23, 2016 #58 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Just booked a cabana for next year. Very excited! Can't wait to see a map of the cabanas and reviews to find out which one we want. I've booked the only accessable cabana. Aside from it's utility for several guests who use mobility devices, I hoping it's closest to the ship and island activity areas. texasreb Posted June 9, 2017 #59 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Well by now we all know HC is open and just wonderful. So wonderful I am ecstatic that they finally opened water taxi service to Placencia. It started June 1, 2017. Cost is $20 US round trip per person.

Too bad you didn't put your comment in one of the threads discussing the water taxi to Placencia instead of livening an old Harvest Caye thread. Uniall Posted June 9, 2017 #61 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Too bad you didn't put your comment in one of the threads discussing the water taxi to Placencia instead of livening an old Harvest Caye thread. I'm delighted the poster used this "old" Harvest Cate thread since I would not have seen it otherwise. I'm subscribed to this thread but unfamiliar with the other ones you mention. texasreb Posted June 11, 2017 #62 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Glad you saw the post. I posted it in 4 Harvest Caye threads so folks would see it no matter which they were subscribed.
