Caribbean kaftan on Caribbean night in the dining room

I have this gorgeous turquoise print floorlength caftan that I bought in St. Kitts' batik factory several years ago. Would this be acceptable for Caribbean night in the dining room (RCI cruises have this)? I wear a nice camisole under it, and London blue topaz stud earrings and necklace to match. Sandals, too.

 

The men usually wear tropical shirts on this evening.

 

Am I going to look stupid?

I think you will look wonderful-when we went on a Caribbean Cruise (Disney) I purchased a 2 pc. outfit in port just for this purpose. I now use it for festive events home side.

Sound pretty to me! I have a silk caftan that I bought at Caribelle batik on St. Lucia that I just love. I use mine for lounging, but that's just me.
