Coral Dolphin starboard or port side

Doesn't really matter, as you won't know which side of the canal you will be going through and you don't want to be on your balcony the whole time anyway.

Look at the route and figure out which side will give you sun when you want (or don't) want it for the majority of the trip.

Is the starboard or port side of the ship better for the panama cruise. We are on the dolphin deck in a vista suite.

The best views of the Panama Canal are from the open upper decks and not from the balcony. If you are on your balcony be sure to turn on the TV to get all the public service announcements, as someone will be narrating and providing information.
