Course change

Saw that there was a change in the Dream port. Today they were in Cayman and not Belize. Any guess why ? Will ours be changed?:confused:

It could have to do with weather usually. It is what it is. Always remember your cruise contact. They can change whatever whenever for whatever reason.

The port of Belize is a tender port and its about a 15 minute tender to the dock. The sea can get rough at the distance thee ship is from port. Hence, a possible reroute.

We were told that the tender distance is 5 miles, so yes, the seas can be awfully choppy that far out....

I would be interested to know...usually if they have to skip a port they don't go to another. We r going to Belize in 2 weeks so wonder what happened.

Just checked in with Carnival PR, and the ship was always scheduled to call on Grand Cayman yesterday, not Belize. There was no change. Quote: "This was the itinerary for the Dream, and we didn't deviate from it." Not sure if this helps, but I figured I'd pass the info along.
