I hope you don't mind but,

all the family know,

all my friends know,

even the parents and grandparents at my granddaughter's school know.

 

I'm still buzzing so I have to tell you. My daughter and son in law adopted a baby girl today.

Maybe some time tomorrow I'll come down from the ceiling.

Congratulations. Happyv, i know how they feel, my two are adopted and it is now 20 odd years later, couldn't love them any more than we do.

I remember the joy and tears of the first day or two as it is usually the end of a long and eventful road.

Congratulations to Sheila as well, i cant wait for the day one of mine says i am going to be a grandad.

Thank you Tony. We waited quite a while to be grandparents so it was a lovely surprise when it happened. Then I thought maybe there was only going to be the one and now another surprise! It's much more fun being a granny!
