virgin gorda taxis

There is no listing for Virgin Gorda under the Caribbean port section so I'd like to know if taxis will be available at the pier. Has anyone called there?~~don't really want to do a ships tour~~Thanx

There should be "safari vehicles" there. Especially if you are headed to the Baths or Devil's Bay. The safaris will take you to a drop off point up top and you hike down from there on a trail.

 

We've taken several land-based vacations on VG and safari taxis were easy to arrange. I have to believe that the dock will have plenty when a cruise ship is arriving.

I skimmed this site http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/newport.cfm?ID=4 and for the most part, it provides a pretty good overview. When you take a taxi, most drivers will agree to pick you up at a set time at a set place, and no one has let me down yet.
