What to do with Key Card ?

We will be going on our first cruise in January on the Breakaway. Just curious what everyone does with their key cards when they are at the pool and beaches to keep them safe or when walking around the boat. Don't necessarily want to carry a pocketbook around all the time.

Thanks everyone.

Mine lives in my bra :p I don't use the main pools (chemical sensitivity), and when I'm at the spa they hold it for you.

In the bra is convenient and works quite well at times. ;)

Yep, because then you can pull it out and hand that nasty sticky sweaty germy thing to the nearest bartender. I'm sure he will appreciate it.

I have one of those little things with retractable cord. It's so nerdy. It clips to my waistband.

I don't want to wear mine around my neck as I too wear my work pass like that.

Back when I was a kid, the local pool's lockers gave out the keys on a coil (like an old-fashioned phone cable) that you wore around your wrist, normally in some neon colour. Clearly it's time to bring those back.

I bring a hole punch and punch a hole in my card. Then I hook it to a lanyard. I wear my keys at work on a lanyard, so it just seems normal. Plus that way it's always with me and I don't have to worry about bringing a purse or wristlet everywhere I go. If I have pockets, I stuff my key card there.

We punch a hole in it and put it on a small carabiner clip key ring.

It clips on belt loop & tucks into pocket without worry of losing it.

I also clip it inside my small purse.

You could clip it to a bra strap I reckon.

It's really easy to unclip, have it swiped, and clip it back on.

I use a lanyard. I actually brought 100 of them with me on our last cruise and gave all of them away (about 40 of them went at our meet and greet). I even brought a hole puncher. People were very happy with them.

Personally, I would rather have my card on the lanyard than in my bra or pocket. It's much easier to lose that way.

To each their own opinion.

Lanyard works great, Purser's desk with punch hole in it for you. When I am in the water I put my key cards, money and credit card in a zip lock bag and then into one of those plastic holder with a string and put it around my neck. Dollar store sells a stack of different sized baggies and in the summer you can get that plastic holder. They also sell them on the ship, sorry I can't remember the name of that holder, but it is about the size of a pack of smokes.

That is what I use. Purchased them at a local mall. Very handy :)

I have two of those. They work great at the beach. I like the one where each end of the cord attaches to an end of the lid. My other one flips open on one end and the card can slide out too easily.

Let's not jump to conclusions that a woman's bra area is sticky, germy, and sweaty. ;) ... :D

It depends on how big the breasts are - I don't put cards or money in mine, I will literally have to pull the stuff from under and why freak people out doing that? If you have no problems taking it out with your D-cup and up, be my guest; I have enough problems with crumbs / food / liquid spills cleanup that it doesn't look pornographic........

I use a passport wallet to hold my cards including sail card, passport & cash; and when I go swimming, I just put them in a waterproof bag / pouch like this one:

Agree! A key card carried in a clean bra next to clean skin is very sanitary. (Off the ship I stuff some cash in the "other" pocket.)

When sitting by the pool I usually have my backpack for towels, suntan lotion and kindle and can throw it in there. All other times I have a small wristlet purse that can fit the card, my small camera and lip balm.

I carry my backpack everywhere - it's my man purse:).

Wife packs in swim suit top or my backpack. It ain't hard - don't overthink.
