We just completed a Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale TA on the NA

For those wondering about the sun on the balcony question hear is the answer.

The sun rose and set on the port side until the last day. There was a diversion to Bermuda to off load a very sick passenger.

Arrival time in FLL was not affected as the Captain increased speed significantly once the course change was announced.

Day time temperatures averaged 75 F

Seas were mostly calm and it rained 2 days of the 13.

Sounds like you had great weather for November. Thanks so much as we will be doing a TA at this time next year :D

Prinsendam arrived Fort Lauderdale yesterday from Rome. High seas to the north caused itinerary diversion, after Lisbon, from Azores to Madeira - giving us a track across about 300 miles further south. The eight sea days were fine with us - but weather could have been better. Sea temperatures from about 70 on leaving Lisbon rising to 80 the last couple of days made for warm crossing.

Look forward to sailing Prinsendam again - a lively ship.

One couple had boarded in Athens, Oct. 15, I believe, and will be on board until April 4, 2015; complicated somewhat by the fact that her luggage did not catch up until Lisbon - she was a great sport, and did not let that cloud her enjoyment.

My wife announced this was a resounding success after initially whimpering "what will I do for six sea days!!"

The Q&A sessions with various crew departments, a crew talent show (truly unbelievable) and the various crazy cook offs kept her hopping throughout the ship.

I had an Atlantic sized grin in FLL when she proclaimed "lets do that again"

PS...there is a tiny clock on your phone in your cabin!!
