Pre Paid Credit Card on Carnival

I was thinking of buying a pre paid credit card and put cash on it. Will this be ok when I'm at the terminal signing in? I don't want to use my Visa.

Or can I just go to the front desk on the ship AND GIVE THEM CASH TO DRAW ON? tHANKS

Just use cash...it is very easy. On the last night of your cruise if you have not used all the money, go down and close account. They will give you back unused cash. Remember to go late in the evening since once you close account you can not use card again for purchase.

They do not use the prepaid gift cards-- (most say only good if used in the US)

 

Use cash= which you place at guest services

I always use cash. You don't even have to visit Guest Services. You can use a self service kiosk as well.

Careful getting pre paid debit cards, I did and the multiple holds will block the access to cash on the card for up to 10 days. I'd use cash or if you can get a deal on the gift cards do that.
