Rare trbarton Posted December 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2014 I new to Carnival and am aware with paying extra $ that the staterooms are usually not available until around 1-1:30 pm and that they make an announcement. What happens if you arrive early and go direct to your stateroom to drop off your carryon bags? Thanks! Tom:)
nwcruiselover Posted December 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) If you aren't Platinum, Diamond or purchase FTTF, you have to keep your carryon bags with you until the cabins are ready at 1:00 - 1:30. That's one perk that entices people to purchase FTTF because it's inconvenient to lug things around the ship for an hour or two. serene56 Posted December 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Arriving early you keep your stuff with you. Dropping stuff off into your unsecured cabin is asking for trouble. THe steward might think its leftover from last cruise and put it out. Do NOT leave stuff in the cabin until 1:30 when the cabins are secured
dallas52 Posted December 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2014 the doors to the hallways to rooms are closed and like they said, the doors on rooms are open until they finish cleaning them so they are unsecured, you are leaving them unprotected. platinum rooms are cleaned and doors locked when you get on and other rooms are open until they are cleaned.
