It's all in the timing

Is the ship's time always the same as "local" time. If NCL says it gets to a port at 7am can I be sure that it will be 7am "local" time as well?I understand that arrival and debarking times are not the same.

Just trying to time shore excursions that are not through the cruise line.

When at sea, you may be out of whack with local... but published arrival and departure times are local time.

Pay close attention to the announcements while on the ship which will remind you about which time you need to follow.
