My Photos from Massena, Mt. Etna, Taormina, Salerno, and Pompei

Hello everyone - my husband and I returned last Monday from an 11 day cruise of the Eastern Med on the Ocean Princess. This was a great time to visit these ports as there were no crowds, and very comfortable temperatures.

If anyone would like to see my photos, just follow the link in my signature below. And of course if you have any questions, just ask.

The biggest surprise for me was Salerno - a really charming city, with spectacular glass Christmas lights on all streets - and everywhere! I really wish we could have seen the lights at night, as shown here.

Thanks for sharing the lovely photos! I enjoyed the Salerno ones, as we haven't docked there yet; and, if I read your descriptions correctly, the town near/of Mt. Etna? We haven't gone near Etna yet, just Taormina. Is there enough there to recommend it as a trip for the day from Messina?
