Thanks for sharing the prices on those data plans. On my BA cruise two weeks ago I paid Verizon $25.00 for 100mb on a lousy connection, when I went over I was automatically charged another $25.00. I'm going back on the BA this Sunday. I'll definitely buy a plan from NCL.

 

 

Hubby used it every day for work and never had to replenish. Worked out well for him.

I'm enjoying your review! We were on the same cruise last week with another couple. We were disappointed on missing GSC also... we visited several times in the past but before all the recent upgrades we were eager to enjoy... oh well.

 

Good thing you switched cruises though; the week prior was very stormy and rocky. A crew member told us that even the employees suffered from seasickness. We were lucky to have a nice smooth voyage and was able to enjoy the outdoors every day.

 

We really enjoyed the cruise but thought it was the most crowded cruise we ever took and we have been on many. So many kids too; don't they go to school anymore... lol.

 

Overall, my DH and I prefer the Gem/Jewel ships more but I guess that's just us. I've never been on a cruise we didn't love!

Yes we had nice weather thankfully. I was so dissapointed missing GSC for the 2nd time. I just booked breakaway again for bermuda in May. Never been on another ncl ship. This time it's a girls cruise 😀😀😀

Really enjoying your review. I was on the Breakaway Nov. 2 and we didn't make it to GSC either. This was my first Norwegian cruise and I loved it (from my local casino). I received an email today from CAS with a free cruise offer but will not be able to use it :-(

 

I got the triple shot mail offer from CAS this week but I don't like the tournament cruises.

finishing up

 

 

DAY 4 PM - NASSAU

 

 

So because we never made it to GSC (boohoo) we docked in Nassau a day earlier than we were supposed to @ 4:00 pm. we got off the ship around 6:00 after eating at O'Sheehans and walked around town for a little bit. My son and his GF and my hubby and brother in law went to Senior Frogs and they said they had a great time.

 

Day 5 - NASSU

 

I'm not a big fan of Nassau been there so many times. Stayed at the Atlantis 5/6 times so being on a cruise ship and going there is somewhat of a tease for me.

 

My DS and his GF had an 8:30 am kyak excursion so they left early for that they had a great time they said they were back on the ship by 11:30. The rest of my family went to cabbage beach. I remember when I stayed at the Atlantis I saw lots of people walking on the side of the Beach Tower at Atlantis and asked where they were all going I was told it was cruise people going to Cabbage Beach a Free Public Beach. So I told my family jump in a cab and tell them to take you there. They took the water taxi instead the dummies and it was a far walk they said to the beach location. So if anyone wants this beach take the Land Taxi same price $4 pp either way. They had a great time. I had lunch with my DS and his GF in the Uptown Grill and told them where I told rest of the family should go so they decided to go and try to find them and guess what? They found them immediately. I was so proud of myself for giving such good directions to everyone lol.

 

This night we had reservations at Tepenyaki. When I was in the casino speaking to Grace the Casino Manager about something she said have a nice dinner I was like huh???? what are you talking about. She said don't you have reservations? ummm yeah. Anyway when we checked in for dinner we were told that the casino was picking up dinner for me and my DH and a bottle of wine...this meant we lost way to much money lol.

 

ROA was tonight I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. It was my 2nd time seeing it. I am an 80's girl and it brings back memories.

OUR LAST NIGHT

 

 

today was actually kind of nice out I was very surprised the temperature was warm. This is the day that they had to airlift a passenger off the ship due to illness. Unfortunately I heard she passed away. She had pantriatic cancer and never even knew. Very sad. I didn't get any pictures of it.

 

Today we went to an art auction it was fun. Didn't buy anything just watched. At 2:00 my son said he wanted to join the Hot Dog Eating Contest. So he did and won lol he ate 10 hot dogs and buns in 5 minutes and 7 seconds. Go MIKE!!! Long Live the Hot Dog King haha.

 

Quiet rest of night ate dinner in taste. Food was good. I had Prime Rib I think my DH had Lamb Shank he loves lamb I hate it so I never make it for him. He said it was so so wasn't a big fan of it.

 

We had a lovely time and booked my 3rd cruise on the Breakaway because I just love that ship. Can't wait to go again.

Enjoyed your review. I'm taking my two youngest daughters on the Breakaway for Spring Break. Your review made me look forward to it even more. :)

 

 

How old are they. My nephews loved it. We barely saw them. They can't wait to go again unfortunately for them our next cruise is a "girls trip" no kids no hubby's lol

They are 13 and 11. They love to cruise and like your nephews I barely see them. I have to insist on a few meals together or I would only see them at bedtime. :D

My nephew keeps sending me texts about how nice cruising is in February or during Easter break. Hint, hint! LOL unfortunately for him, I recently stated a new job so he has to wait until the summer. Deciding between BA, GA or Epic. gA from Miami is pricing really well and we can squeeze in a week in Disney too. I really liked BA though

We absolutely love Bermuda; our most favorite island especially staying 2 overnights. Have a good time with the girls.
