What do you wear on a December cruise?

I agree with the poster that said, "Dress for the weather not the season."

If I were sailing from a cold climate to a warmer one. I'd do as some others have said and wear my warm outfit on the plane to and from the cruise port. I'd wear layers so that once I got to the warmer climate I could take off something so I wouldn't be hot.

I've cruised from CA where it might be in the 50s and low sixties to FL where it's more like 70s and 80s. I will wear a nice pair of jeans. My athletic shoes with socks, a long-sleeved t-shirt with either a light jacket or hoodie. Then when I get to FL and get off the plane, I just take off the outer layer and I'm good to go. If it gets cool at night on the ship on deck...I have my light jacket or hoodie to wear.

Otherwise, all my clothes for the cruise are Capri pants (I don't wear shorts), 3/54-length, sleeved tops and maxi skirts for the MDR. A cocktail dress with a Pashmina wrap for Formal nights, is a go too.

Hope you enjoy your cruise!:D
