Dawn Beach condition post storm?

I always go to either Orient or Dawn Beach when I cruise to St. Maarten. I've read that Orient is a mess with seaweed. Does anyone know what the condition of Dawn Beach is?

I am also trying to find answers as to what beach to go to. After reading through the forums it sounds like the Atlantic side beaches are pretty trashed and getting seaweed. Dawn is on the Atlantic side along with Orient. I will be avoiding it.

We were there over Thanksgiving week and always head over to Dawn beach. When we got there it was covered in seaweed....Both in the water and on the beach. There were probably only 10 chairs set out where normally there would be over 100. We left and went to Pinel island for the day and had a great time.
