Taxi to Gumbalimba

Is it possible? How much should I expect to pay? I'm sure the park isn't free either. I just don't want to do the cruise shore excursion route.

I'm afraid all the recent reports have been that Gumbalinda is only accessible to cruisers via a cruise excursion. They changed their policies and now don't take cash. Land based guests get billed through their hotel.

we went on a non cruise ship day. Free transportation was included. We paid at the entrance. I forget how much we paid. I think it was about $40 cheaper than what is on the cruise excursion. The taxi would be $25us each way from the port to the park.

On cruise days you will still need to stay with a ""tour group". You cant just explore on your own.
