Thrifty MIA Car Rental return

:) I have just found a pretty good deal on a full size SUV from Thrifty. I will be picking up at FLL and returning in Miami. The problem I run into is the return location, there is MIA airport and then MIA Cruise/Shuttle. Just wanted to see which location those of you who have rented from Thrifty choose for the MIA location. Thanks!

When we rented a car at FLL, we returned it to Miami airport & they then shuttled us to the port. This was in 2011 so things could have changed, but at that time there was not a drop off at the port (even though it did show that option).

Last time I checked Alamo, National and Thrifty offered free shuttles from their MIA airport location to POM.

Thanks JohninDC! :) I had emailed Alamo, got the 100% on them. I went ahead and reserved with them, until I found a great deal on a rental through Thrifty. I was worried because it gave two options for MIA return/pick up. Those shuttles sure are handy!

It honestly doesn't matter. It's the same office. We actually did a pickup from there once, and chose the Cruise Ship one thinking that it mattered for the shuttle, but when we got there, they didn't have my car ready because they forgot to pull the reservations that morning from that "location" Not a big deal, just required me to go to the counter to check-in.
