We are going to be eating at the Court of the Two Sisters on Royal Street, only a block and a half from our hotel. I had gotten reservations for dinner in the courtyard, but the current forecast for NOLA is around 50 degrees and raining, so I move our reservations inside. Cold and rainy doesn't equal a romantic dinner :D

That's where we decided to eat, have reservations for Wednesday night.....less than a week away!!!!

We also want to find a good place to try a Poboy for the first time. Any recommendations?

Had a great combo dinner, shrimp & oysters & catfish strips, more than 1 person should eat, plus free crab boiled potatoes for under $18 at Deanies if FQ 2 weeks ago. Also had a cup (as big as most bowls) of some of the best seafood gumbo I have ever eaten, I believe it was $5.95.

Anthony Bourdain loves Domilise's for PO-BOYS. I'm not a big fan of the sandwich when there is so much else to eat in NOLA. However, because of my Sicilian roots and the unsung contributions of southern Italians to the history of Louisiana, I suggest that you ditch the po boy and head to the Central Market for a Muffuletta.

If you have a few bucks left over after Emeril's NOLA, do try K-Paul's for a lunch and Brigsten's for one of the most memorable dinners you will ever have.

Remember to wash it all down with a Sazerac (specify Templeton's Rye).
