Your Carnival Memory of the Year

Spending my 45th birthday in Aruba with my mom and daughter. I went on a jet ski for the very first time that day. I enjoyed the southern carribean cruise on the Freedom very much-one of my favorite cruises

This is a great thread! It's hard to pick just one favorite memory from our very first cruise this year, but I have to say that it very well might be when my husband and I were exploring the ship that first morning at sea, and we discovered that sometime during the night the ugly brown water of Galveston had changed into that gorgeous, aqua color of the Caribbean. Staring out at that beautiful water, nothing but the majesty of the sea and churning waves for miles, literally took my breath away. It was the first time either of us had seen the ocean. I can't wait to see that view again.

 

Another favorite is when we arrived at our resort in Montego Bay, walked through the doors leading outside, and saw our first glimpse of paradise. Again, took my breath away.

 

And of course laying on the beach at Nachi in Cozumel, next to my best friend and husband of 15 years, celebrating our anniversary while sipping on Miami Vice's.

 

Oh, I can't wait to board the Triumph in April! :D

Well I am pretty much only allowed one cruise a year. So it would have to be having my first balcony room. Not only was it a balcony but one of the extended ones!!! Now I think I am spoiled.

 

Can't wait to make my memory for 2015. Going on cruise with 4 of my-sister-laws that have never cruised before!

My favorite experience in 2014... 2 - 7 day cruises in one year Mexico and Alaska.... Alaska one was free for the first 2 passengers :D

Seeing the glaciers of Alaska and the wild life surround Alaska.. Just Amazing and awe inspiring.:D

Oh goody! What a fun thread!

 

Highlight for me was celebrating 15 years with my hubs and splurging on a suite, cruising with my mom, meeting such wonderful Splendidos friends through our roll call (whom I still talk to on a weekly basis!) which two of the gals are meetin me and my other friend who is a cruise virgin (can't wait to see her face light up!), experiencing NYC for the first time, helicopter tour in GT and of course HMC... So much so I purposely found a cruise going back there along with st Thomas. But this time girls trip and leaving hubs and kiddo at home!

My favorite 2014 memories are:

 

My 8 day Splendor cruise out of NYC in January down to Florida and the Bahamas. The cruise was on the cold side but it was enjoyable especially the views leaving out of NYC.

 

The Pinnacle Steakhouse was an awesome exeperience. Excellent service and food.

 

My final memory is spending my 50th birthday on the Paradise. I enjoyed my birthday in Cozumel.:cool:

Unfortunately we didn't cruise in 2014, however I still have a wonderful memory. On February 26th we booked our 2nd b2b on the Valor for this fall. It has since been changed to the liberty, but we are still extremely excited.

15 days on the Miracle to Hawaii was heavenly.... Hawaii was breath taking.. Bucket List cruise. check... off the list.... What's next?

Being able to take my 15 mo old son on his first cruise as well as the look on my mom's face when she boarded the ship for her first cruise.

 

AND having the opportunity to snorkel with whale sharks. Now THAT was an experience!

For the people who cruise several times a year this will not seem like much of a memory, but for me; just finally getting on a ship after four long years without one was the highlight of my year. I just remember having this big sigh of relief that I had actually made it this time. And the cruise itself was wonderful too:)
