Question about price drops

I'm assuming we are out of luck, but just thought I'd check. 2 weeks ago we booked a cruise for Feb. after final payment date using the military rate. Today I noticed there is a sale and its $400 cheaper plus OBC. Any chance of a price match?

Don't know the answer based upon the fact that I am not eligible for military rates and I have never booked a last minute cruise. But, you may be eligible for an upgrade if a better cabin is now available for the price that you paid two weeks ago. It doesn't hurt to ask, all they can do is say no.

If you did not book ES and it is after final payment date you cannot get price drops. You can get cabin upgrades if they are available though.

Thanks :-) I forgot about being able to upgrade until after I posted this. I called them and they upgraded me to another balcony, but I really wanted an ocean suite. She wouldn't do it saying they don't do complimentary upgrades to suites. The ocean suite price is still $200 less than what I paid. I'll call my pvp in the morning and see if it's possible.

WooHoo! Always pays to call back and try again! Just upgraded to an ocean suite! Probably the one and only time we will have a suite.
