Private Island and the Yacht Club question

I have heard that the island stop is Great Stirrup Cay. Also that it is rocky just like Royal Carribean's island.

On Royal's island, if you are in a suite, there is an area blocked off that is has a nicer beach & upgraded barbeque.

Is there anything like that for MSC if you are staying in the Yacht Club ??

Thanks

No area is blocked off for Yacht Club guest and you have to pay for the drinks on the island. We found a very nice area about 10 minutes walk from the pier. It's a beautiful lagoon with lovely beaches and not many people walk that "far". Plenty of space and food and drink service as well. As a Yacht Club guest you have priority on the tender boat and your butler will gladly escort you to the tender boat onboard. Enjoy your day on this beautiful island.

We didn't get to go ashore on either the week of Nov 22nd or Nov 29th due to waves (understandable the first week, we actually anchored the 2nd week before they made the call and it didn't seem THAT bad). I would love to know how often they cancel it. Lots of sea days already - missing a port each week with no alternative backup plan was no fun :-(

Here's a Googled pic(thanks crimper) that you're talking about on Great Stirrup Cay!

You are tendered at the top of the picture!

As you exit the tender, to the left is a walking bridge to a tram stop that takes you to the Lagoon if you don't want to walk!

The Lagoon is the circular pond at the bottom of the picture, there is a bar and buffet there too!:D

The Lagoon water is fed fresh from the sea, and the Lagoon is about 12-14 feet deep at it deepest! The Lagoon sand is very fine and soft to the feet, and there are plenty of loungers there!:D

This area is where we had our last day good bye Cruise Critic party, a great location!:D
