How does a Pinnacle "free cruise" work?

I recently reached 1,050 C&A points so contacted C&A to find out how the latest $2,400 credit voucher works. I had never received the actual voucher.

I was told that it was best to apply it to the most expensive cruise that I have booked.

This was done but I no longer get the balcony discount or the reduced single supplement or the $150 OBC. I also am required to prepay the gratuities.

 

End of the day, I saved $1,187.50 and they agreed to restore my OBC.

 

I am just wondering what others have experienced.

What you described is how it's been explained to me. No C&A balcony discount and prepaid gratutites. Max $2400 for two people, based on the price of the least expensive balcony stateroom.

 

Next time (1400 points) you get the credit for the value of a JS stateroom.:)
