2015 will see the launch of Britannia, I`m onboard for the Baltic cruise at the end of May 2015 and I`m VERY excited !!

Thanks Cruisefan - I echo those sentiments. And of course 2015 will also see the launch of Anthem of the Seas and Norwegian Escape as well so - a hotly contested marketplace for cruisers.

I'm told the fireworks are better seen from a little way out of the harbour. On Marine Traffic, Saga Sapphire, Mein Schiff 3 and AidaBlu haven't arrived yet.

We were there last year, staying in a hotel. The fireworks were fabulous. There were 12 ships last year and some didn't come in until quite late.

And a Happy New Year from me too! Just back from the fireworks and revelry in my little town - they were great, but can't compare with Funchal I am sure!
