Cannes/Monte Carlo

Any suggestions for what to do here?

Your question does not make a lot of sense since Cannes and Monte Carlo are about an hours drive apart (more then an hour on the TER trains). If you are on a cruise you might tender at Cannes, Villefranche, or perhaps dock in Monte Carlo. Because of the distance involved it is helpful to know where your ship is going :). As what to do, you are talking about the French Riviera where there is much to do to please most folks. Much depends on your personal preferences. There is shopping, beaches, museums, etc etc. We have literally spent many months in this part of France and have never been bored :)

I think Vision is scheduled to stop at Villefranche? (a tender port).

Villefranche itself is very pleasant but quite small - you could spend a lazy day there, though you'd do better to go explore..................

- at the far end of the town, about a 10 to 15 minute walk, is the rail station. IIRC, trains are half-hourly, they go along the coast. To the east about 15 minutes to Monaco. Or to the west about 15 mins to Nice, or various other options further along the line, even as far as Antibes. Or there's a bus service to Nice or Monaco.

Other options in the area too.
