Which hotel does Princess use in Seattle?

Does anyone know which hotel Princess uses for a pre-cruise overnight?

Spending one night in Seattle (4 people) and not sure if we'll choose the Princess hotel or a different one.

Looking to probably stay near the Pike Public market.

Plan on seeing the sites and then taking a shuttle or cab to the port.

Thanks for any info.

I wouldn't worry about staying near the market ... if you stay anywhere downtown a cab will only cost $10. So best to find a hotel that suits your budget and other requirements.

I've stayed at the Inn at the Market and it's a lovely place but pricey. It's across the street from the Market and the rooftop deck has amazing views of Puget Sound and all the boat traffic, the ferris wheel, and across the bay to the Olympic Mtns. Another nice place is the Warwick ... a 2-3 block walk to the Market. And it's situated next to the Westlake Center so if you can easily manage your luggage you can take the Light Rail from the airport to Westlake for $3pp.

We are on the same cruise as you in July (6 of us). I have booked the Best Western Loyal Inn. I believe it is near the Space Needle. Now just to find inexpensive flights from the east coast. That is what is killing us right now!

Thanks Mapleleaves

We went ahead and booked a room at the Warwick.

They have a "cruise package" that allows for two American breakfasts and transfer from the hotel to the pier.

One room 4 people for $399.00.

Thanks again for your advice.

My apologies .... Mayflower is the hotel next to Westlake Station.

No worries though ... the Warwick is only 2 blocks from Westlake and also gets great reviews on this forum. That's not a bad price for 4, downtown, especially with b'fast and transfer. The airport area would be much cheaper. What time do you arrive in Seatac?

We land at 10am and plan to drop off our luggage at the hotel and then hit the city running.

We plan on doing the Duck Tour and visiting the Space Needle, Pioneer Square and Pike Public Market.

We plan to have dinner down at the water front - maybe the Crab Pot or Anthony's.

Since two breakfasts are included with the room we'll probably have breakfast at the hotel (and just purchase the other two). Then head for the ship around 11am.

The Mayflower Park's rate is $409.00 so their pretty close. We save a little bit with the breakfast and transfer.

Thanks again.

The Duck tour is lots of fun! If you have time, the Chihuly exhibit at the Space Needle is breath taking, especially the outdoor garden display. The Market crowds become overwhelming by noon. I highly recommend going there after b'fast on day 2..... check-out, leave your luggage with the Desk, then visit the Market for a couple of hours. You're less than a 10 minute drive to the pier so there's no need to rush to the ship.
