Lunch on day one--Constellation

We were on the Constellation in March 2014.

We found it enjoyable to have lunch at Bistro on Five which opens at noon.

it was $5pp, but now I think it's $7pp.

It was pretty quiet with only a couple of tables filled. You got to park you carry-ons and have a lovely table service with options of crepes, soups, salads, dessert.

By the time we were finished with lunch, they were announcing that cabins were ready.

Another vote for Bistro. It was like an oasis of peace (after the usual stresses of transfer to the pier) when boarding Constellation a couple of weeks ago. The staff was very friendly and it wasn't at all crowded, so our group of four really started relaxing and enjoying our cruise when we got to the Bistro on Five. Went back another day for equally nice experience.

Your only other options are all on deck 10: Oceanview Café, Seaside Grill, and maybe Aqua Spa Cafe. Most folks either can't find Aqua Spa or think it's tied to Aqua Class. Nope. It's for everyone at breakfast and lunch and they often have good selections.
