Tropical Weather Update

August 26, 2005

11:00am

Royal Caribbean International is closely monitoring the path and progress of Hurricane Katrina to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, as well as to ensure our ships steer clear of the storm.

The safety and comfort of our guests are always the foremost concerns of Royal Caribbean International.

Given Katrina's current location and projected path, we are providing the following information regarding three Royal Caribbean International ships.

Ships sailing from Port Everglades:

Empress of the Seas, now on four-night sailing, sailed from the Port of Tampa on a modified itinerary. The ship will spend the day at sea today, arrive early into Cozumel, Mexico, at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday, depart Cozumel as scheduled at 10 p.m. Saturday evening and spend the day at sea Sunday. The ship will return to Port Everglades Monday, August 29.

Ships sailing from the Port of Miami:

UPDATE: Port of Miami Currently Closed by U.S. Coast Guard.

Majesty of the Seas, now on a four-night sailing originally scheduled to conclude on today will delay its return to the Port of Miami by one day. The ship will spend the day at sea today and arrive in Miami on Saturday. Majesty of the Seas' next cruise has been shortened to a two-night sailing that is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 27. The sailing will include a port of call in Nassau, Bahamas, on Sunday, before returning to the Port of Miami on Monday. Based on available information at this time, Royal Caribbean International expects the Port of Miami to be open on Saturday; however, guests booked on this shortened sailing should continue to monitor this web site for updated information regarding their cruise.

UPDATE: Navigator of the Seas, is still expected to arrive at the Port of Miami on Saturday and depart on its next sailing at 5 p.m. that day. However, guests booked on that sailing should continue to monitor this web site for any itinerary changes.

At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being adversely affected by tropical weather. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information accordingly.
