Itsacruisething Posted January 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Can anyone recommend a shore excursion to Glasgow other than the cruise line. We are there 5 May 2015. Would like to see as many sights as possible.

SuiteTraveler Posted January 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) http://www.toursbylocals.com/Glasgow-Tours?s=BA_13_014B_Glasgow%20day%20tours&utm_source=MSAC&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=13_014B http://www.gandscabs.com/cruise-ship-sightseeing-port-glasgow-greenock/ There are really so many options and it depends on what you want to see. I would suggest Loch Fyne and Inveraray Castle or Loch Lomand and Inveraray Castle. IF that is of interest to you. Inveraray Castle was used for the 2012 Downton Abbey Christmas episode. But you might be all castled out??? So an alternative would be Blending your own Whiskey at Stirling Castle: http://www.lynotttours.com/b-ishore11.htm#glasgow Edited January 8, 2015 by SuiteTraveler
