Are you able to price match special offers? We have price guarantee but didn't know if we could PM the casino offer we received for the free Fun Chips.

So are you eligible if you've already picked your own stateroom?

Sugar, yes you are eligible if you've already picked your stateroom. I already had mine picked. It was made easier since the rate was the same. Not sure if things were to change price.

Brittany, not sure if casino offers are eligible for the price protection. That's a great question to call in about.

This isn't some special sale for only certain cruisers. Anyone can book early saver right now and benefit from this promo. Or if you are already booked, you can check your prices and see if you qualify for a price drop and/or the OBC only.

Thanks I just called my cruise lady. Got $140 of each of my 2 cabins & got that dang 50 on board credit :D

I'm a relative Newbie to cruising and my first carnival cruise is September. We booked the pride on 13th under ES, and snagged the OV w/ French Doors. The rates advertised under this sale are still higher, but I was wondering if we'd be able to get the OBC? We booked through a TA so I'm assuming I'd have to call them first? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got my reduced rate and OBC. The PVP told me that I can just call right up till final payment after that is when I need to fill out the form. I have always just done the form.

The more you know..:p

Did you fill out the form and then call your PVP for the reduction? Reason I'm asking - I saw your original post that says you submitted and hadn't heard anything yet. And i'm in the same boat! I submitted yesterday, and then again today (because I'm impatient). In the past, I heard right away. Unsure why i'm getting crickets yet everyone else seems to be getting a quick turn around

Wondered if I should just call even though I've already submitted the form. Thx.

we switched to this promo 3 days ago saving $20 and getting the $50 on board credit. Submitted a form yesterday for another $160 it was approved and today submitted another form for $100 waiting for approval.

Where do you get the form for the OBC? I have 4 cabins booked for May

Hi :)

Thank you so much for your post! We have existing Early Saver sailings already booked and have received a handful of price drops so far.

I just got off the phone with Carnival & asked if we qualify for the $50 promotional on-board credit for our existing sailings.

Sure enough we did, and were awarded the $50 credit per cruise for our upcoming B2B aboard the Breeze.

Very happy I saw your post prior to January 11th.

Thanks again, have a terrific day!

:)

I do have early saver but my cabin category is sold out; does anyone know if I would still be eligible for $50 OBC? The rates for all categories look to be the same now as when i booked. I emailed my PVP yesterday, but no reply yet.

Of all the OBC given that we are reading about, we're any of them inside cabins? My price dropped $500 yesterday and I was given a $30 OBC but my wife and I have a balcony. I immediately reached out to the couple going with us to tell to the call the PVP so they can get something and they were told it didn't apply to inside rooms? Any info on that? Thx!

I'm not sure what the process is with a travel agent or private vacation planner. I booked myself online at Carnival.com.

When I called, I was asked to still fill out the Price Protection form on carnival.com (the agent on the phone walked me through how to find it and even told me the exact name of the promotion and promo code).

The exact name of the promotion and promo code is " Early Saver Upgrade Up to $50 onboard credit OEC ".

I think having the exact promo name and promo code put into the sale name field along with filling out the entire form (including where you found the sale) makes the approval faster.

When I asked when I should hear back, I was told I should hear back via e-mail by tomorrow. If I didn't, do not resubmit the form. Just call the carnival customer service #.

Glad to hear that people are benefiting from this! Good luck!!!

I just want to double check as I see everyone getting price drops plus the $50 OBC.

I am booked early saver for my cruise in May. I already got my $50 OBC this past week when I sent in my form (got denied) and I called Carnival and they gave me the OBC.

When I do a mock booking, it is currently $779 for a balcony per person, however there is the let Carnival choose your room for $729. I can't send in a form for the $729 is that correct? I don't think so, but I just wanted to double check (first time booked ES).

Thanks!!

You can try and price match to the assigned rate. They may let you do it. What I've seen is sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Just be sure you want to give up picking your own room for the $50 savings. And if they do it, make sure you maintain your $50 OBC as the assigned rate right now also has that promo. Give them a call.

Although I may not be the best person to reply to you, since i'm still waiting to hear back on my price protection submission lol. But for our cruise, I noticed if I do a mock booking, the rate looks to be higher than the rate we paid. But if I use the Fare Viewer, it is $90 per person cheaper for the same category. This is where I took my screenshot in case I need it later.

I just called my PVP to see if she could shake things loose and she said I should wait one more day for a response. When she looked it up, her response lead me to believe I would receive credit.

I will reply back once confirmed (or denied)!
