Casino offer PTC question

Can someone tell me how much casino cash comes with the casino offer listed below? I realize it's probably not much cash, but the rate was good, so we booked using this offer recently. There is no mention of how much casino cash anywhere that I can see. It says:

-Up to 40% off Fun Select Fares & Casino Cash

-Book by March 5, 2015

-Sail by Aug. 31, 2015

Request Fare Code PTC

I checked the rate of this casino offer (under DH's VIFP #) compared to my "Exclusive VIFP Early Saver" rate, and the casino rate was $150 less (although the VIFP rate came with $50 OBC, so still a net of $100 less, plus whatever he gets in casino cash). Just curious.

Also, will he get an e-mail or something from the Players Club? The offer didn't come in snail mail. I just saw it when checking his offers online.

Thanks.

We are booked under PTC and it is $40. They sent us an email with our booking number, name, sailing date, etc. This is part of it:

It varies. I think it depends on how much you gambled on your recent cruises. I've received $50.00 and $100.00 on this offer. On my upcoming cruise in May I'm getting $ 75.00.

Premier cruise offers you tend to get more, but that is not what you have here. My offer on the recent premier cruises ( which I could not take as none of the selected cruises worked for me) was $300.00.

I just received a premier cruise offer in the mail. It showed I had $400 cash right on it. My husband got one that showed $40 on it. You have nothing on the letter at all stating an amount?

It wasn't a letter or an e-mail. It was just in his "my offers" section online when he checked. It's not one of the premier cruise offers, just a general PTC offer that says it comes with casino cash, with no specific amount mentioned in the offer or online when I booked, so I was just curious.

If he doesn't get an e-mail about an amount of casino cash, I will just have him call.

Thanks!

I have a question for a friend that is not on CC. If you receive a free cruise offer from the casino does it count towards your VIFP days and number of cruises. Thanks all.

The three free casino cruises I took over the summer counted.

My wife got $40 casino cash on the Dream cruise we booked next month. The Carnival employee said the amount depended on the ship, date of cruise, and number of days in the cruise.

Any also there were different codes with different amounts for people who gambled more.

  • 2 months later...

I have 2 cruises book. One is at the PTC casino rate - no number after it. The offer said casino cash but it didn't say how much. Im cruising in April and and it was already past final payment date so I paid 100% at booking. Will they automatically send me an email before the cruise or do I need to email them to ask?

Also I have another cruise booked in November as part of a group cruise. I've only paid a deposit. Do you ever get casino cash without booking the casino rate? And do I need to wait until closer to cruise dats to ask?

This is the first time I've had any type of casino comp. I just want to make sure I actually get it, even if it's small.

My wife and I just got off a premier cruise on the breeze. I got $700 and she got $200. I got cash. She got fun chips

That is a great offer, and glad to hear that you had no issues redeeming the cash.

Correct me if wrong. You just had to go to cage with ID for the cash payout? Nothing more required as they had you as their guest for the offer/premier cruise?

I have one coming up, hence fort the ?'s
