Will everyone get a tender ticket...even if they aren't in the cabin that rented the cabana? I'm going with my son and his fiance, and they will be in a different cabin. I want to make sure we all get priority, although as a platinum, I think I get it anyway, so maybe I should rent it under their cabin. (But I don't want them to get the refund if we don't make it to the island!)

I vote bananas foster crepes and shrimp and grits! This Live is making me want to try Carnival again...although the 15 drink limit is a thing!

Once again, a fair and balanced account of the trip. I was on the Prima when you sailed and agreed with everything you wrote! I wish I had your stamina for food and beverage!

The Alchemy Bar was my favorite part of Carnival Cruise Lines. That being said, the Free at Sea program has sold me on NCL. I go to Mojitos and Shakers and tip the bartenders and get great service. Just know what you want and see if you can get something close.

I loved that cooking excursion in Cozumel! I didn't realize that drinks were included, and they never left my margarita unfilled! And the food was good!

Definitely check the restrictions...I tried to use mine on gambling and the Daily Service Charge and it was not allowed, so I lost about $140. This was from CC points, so I will make sure I know FOR SURE next cruise!

I had the coffee maker in the closet...I had to make sure and ask my room attendant to provide coffee and creamer each morning. On the last cruise I brought my own pods and flavored creamer in little containers...I need coffee to get coffee!

Interesting. I am on the Encore in February and I am amazed that the Vibe hasn't sold out yet. I only ever got Vibe passes once by being in boarding group 2 and running (before they started pre-selling) and I only got a pass because he had two left and it was a group of three in front of me! So now, I book the cruise, by the Vibe pass...and if it wasn't available, I would probably cancel and choose another date! Maybe I should work with a PCC in the future!

I book it as soon as I book a cruise...if not available, I would cancel and find another! That's how much I LOVE the Vibe! 🙂

Ship -NCL Getaway Deck -10 Stateroom # - 10754 Stateroom Category –BB Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – This cabin rattled the entire time...all day and night. It was not the hangers and I had two engineers come to see if it could be fixed. Their comment? "You should hear some of the other cabins!" Not helpful. Their solution...4 chocolate covered strawberries and two sets of earplugs. I ended up sleeping with the balcony door open so I could have some "white noise". Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – View is good. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal. Fits a small table and two chairs. Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Not an aft cabin. No soot issues Any specific problems with this cabin? - Just the rattling. Everything else was fine. Any other comments? - Would never book this stateroom again.

My one issue is that they told me that I could use current OBC to pay for the CN certificates...and that wasn't true. So I LOST $488 of OBC, since I did it on the final night of the cruise and had I known, I would have used the OBC at the gift shop. And honestly, the way OBC is shown on the app...it's hard to figure out how much you have used and how much you have left (and I'm in finance!)

I was in the Vibe last year and a group of 50 something’s would go down and bring plates piled with pizza and eat it in the hot tub…yuck! I never questioned it, but I could see them saying it was “pre-ordered” to take it all!

Are you sure that Veuve (or other champagnes) wouldn't still be available by the glass? Maybe those are the bottles available for Premium +...a girl can hope!

I think NCL needs to make sure that the coffee machine in the Studio Lounge is on for debarkation day...I was coming into the lounge when Sid realized it was off...don't get between Sid and his coffee!

We had an amazing time!! The ship was not crowded at all, the service was great, the weather was HOT! Embarkation would have been a breeze if we had not had that little hiccup! I highly recommend looking for local tours, but we also had a good time on our NCL tours. The best tour we had was from Trip Advisor, a three-spot swimming tour in Rhodes from Faliraki Fun Club, the water was so beautiful and clear!

Just came back...it was amazing! One thing to be aware of, your last covid vaccination has to be within 9 months. Not sure how I missed that! My son brought the card without his latest booster and we had a huge panic when we were "denied" boarding! Thank goodness, I have a very understanding sister, who got up at 5AM to help us out!

I definitely got mine on and it worked fine on the Breakaway, but on the Jade I thought it had been burned out because it worked for about 10 minutes and then just stopped. I could hear a tiny "whirring" in the motor, and I spent my vacation thinking that I had killed my Dyson. Thankfully, it still works at home, so I just think it was something in the electrical on the older ships.
