Plexiglass vs Steel Verandas

New to HAL and hope one of you experienced HAL cruisers can help. Looking at Nieuw Amsterdam and wanted to know if the "VE" veranda category has the plexiglass veranda. If not, which veranda category has plexiglass? Thanks.

Only the deck 4 VH and VF (4001 to 4042) and the two SQ suites (10005 and 10006) have steel wall railings. All the rest are plexiglass.

VE4013-4019 on the Upper Promenade deck do have steel railings as indicated by the solid diamond marker on the HAL website. They are bracketed by the VF cabins catl331 mentioned.

Sorry, I didn't realize that some of the cabins in the 4001 to 4042 range had been re-designated as VE. :o That seems very odd to me. I guess it's because they're quads rather than triples. :) Edited January 9, 2015 by catl331
