Rum Chata

Can you purchase a bottle Rum Chata from room service once you are on board? It's not listed online in the liquor from Bon Voyage.

As far as I know, Rum Chata is not on the ships. :(

 

The Fascination did have Orchata, a cinnamon cream rum.

 

I wish they would have Rum Chata!

As an aside, when we were in St. Thomas looking for Rum Cream at a little alley store, the sales guy showed us Rumchata and said it was better AND it was only available there. Didn't buy it. Got home and saw it on the shelf at Meijer grocery store same price. Looked at the label...made in Wisconsin.

Just bought Orchata here to try since they dont have RumChata.

 

I believe Carnival charges $90.00 for it. I paid $14.95 at my local liquor store. Def not worth the price imo.

If you're "lucky" and get a rum runner/shambooze through security or through the luggage scan, you can do this, but be prepared to "sacrifice" your bottle to the naughty room; returned at end of cruise if unopened (seal in tact) or poured "down the drain" if opened or not in original container.

 

Use the cruise to try something else, especially if there's an Alchemy Bar on board. As Tom Waits sang (about something else) "getcha little sumpthing that cha can't get a home".:D

We wanted Rum Chata for one of our recent cruises too and poured it into empty travel size bottles and placed them scattered throughout our luggage. It was nice to keep the bottles on ice and have a small glass on occasion.

Thanks everyone...It's for mom so I may take a chance and use the rum runner.
