SMSACE6 Posted January 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) I know that if I cancel my "early saver" cruise, that I will lose 50.00 pp, but Carnival will hold the balance of my deposit for some time (two years?), and I can use that amount to book another cruise. My question is; does that two year time frame for rebooking start the day I cancel? If that is the case, I might be better to hold onto my booking for a few more months. Just wondering. I have since reconsidered my upcoming plans for this year, and would like to postpone and pick another cruise for much later (maybe). Thanks for any info on this. I did also do a search on this and while I found lots on Eearly saver, this specific question/answer I could not find. firemanbobswife Posted January 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2015 Yes, it's good for 2 years from the date of cancellation. You can use the remaining balance for your other cruise, however, it cannot be used for the new booking's deposit.
CruizinMama1026 Posted January 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2015 I got this straight from Carnival's website... "Future cruise credit must be used on a sailing within 24 months from the date of cancellation."
