St Maarten Beach Day/Relaxing Day

I will be in St Maarten on Tuesday February 3rd , 2015. I want to spend the day at the beach in a lounge chair, reading my book, and sitting in the water when I feel like it. I would like a place that has facilities and drinks or a place that delivers drinks to your chair. Totally relaxing day! I have read so many reviews my head is spinning. Any help would be great.

In December, I was the only cruiser in port who did this excursion:

I took a shared van from just outside the port area at the excursion building. A few other cruisers got dropped off along the way, and then I found myself arriving at Anse Marcel. Had a welcome drink, a lounger on the beach, lunch which was excellent, and relaxed afterwards.

 

Anse Marcel is along a calm bay, and the other end of that bay has a remodeled Riu hotel that may have been converted from a Radisson. I had prearranged a pickup time with the van driver, and he arrived on time and I easily got transported back to my ship an hour before sailaway.

 

I was tickled that out of maybe 8,000 cruisers in port that day, I was the only one who chose this excursion.

I only looked at excursions through the cruise line. Everyone I talked too didn't think it was a good idea to use any other. This looks wonderful! Thanks so much!

As you get off the ship at the tourist village there is a Information Booth. Once you decide where you want to go just walk to the taxi/tours pickup area, everything is clearly marked.

EvandBob - if you're still following this post - Could you snorkel out from this beach? The location looks amazing, but we were hoping to get some snorkeling in. Thanks for your imput.
