cooltj Posted January 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2015 HI, I was wondering if someone could tell me how big the Junior bath is? Will an average person fit ii it? or is this perfect for kids only? My wife was wondering if she should bring bubble bath :D Thanks
sistersfirstcruise Posted January 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) I am assuming the tub is the same size as the Ocean Suites. We were on Glory and yes I was able to have a bubble bath, but it is very narrow. I am 5'6" and approx 190lbs. It was a tight fit for me. But I still enjoyed it for what it was. A chance to relax and soak the body!! It has doors, not a curtain, so you cannot sit on the edge of the tub due to the door tracks. Just so you know. k2excursion Posted January 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) The junior tub on Dream class ships' deluxe OV cabins are different from the ones in suites, so it would seem. There is no door. It's a curtain. The tub doubles as a shower, and a better one than in the regular bathroom. You will not be able to stretch out much in the tub, but an adult who isn't too tall could still enjoy a bath in it. Here's my pic: And one from someone else Edited January 15, 2015 by k2excursion

mrpayroll Posted January 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2015 I would say it is about 2/3 in length as a regular tub.
MrsT3030 Posted January 15, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2015 Do you know if these are also available on the Sunshine? Thanks!
k2excursion Posted January 16, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Do you know if these are also available on the Sunshine? Thanks! They are not. These deluxe OV cabins are only on Dream, Magic, & Breeze. Sunshine will have suites that have a tub, but suites are much more expensive than deluxe OVs. styxfire Posted November 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 14, 2015 I was picturing something similar to a miniscule wash tub from the days of "Little House on the Prairie" and "The Waltons", in which people scrubbed their laundry. But what you've shown is an actual SECOND BATHROOM. i.e. TWO showers in one cabin. On the lower decks of Breeze, almost all the cabins are configured this way. Sounds like a massive bargain! These are great cabins. Just a FYI that the second bathroom does not have a toilet. I would have preferred it have a sink and toilet instead of a sink and junior tub. cruisevv Posted November 14, 2015 #11 Share Posted November 14, 2015 What else besides the tub comes with the deluxe Oceanviews? Are the Windows portholes, oval mid-sized, or floor-to-ceiling?
cb at sea Posted November 14, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 14, 2015 They are standard sized tubs.
Wilgr Posted November 14, 2015 #13 Share Posted November 14, 2015 What else besides the tub comes with the deluxe Oceanviews? Are the Windows portholes, oval mid-sized, or floor-to-ceiling? Standard window but the rooms are 30 SQ FT bigger than a standard OV. My favorite room on Dream class ship.
CalaDragonflyLady Posted November 15, 2015 #14 Share Posted November 15, 2015 What else besides the tub comes with the deluxe Oceanviews? cruisevv Posted November 15, 2015 #15 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Thank you LibratPDX, I couldn't quite think of a way to describe the 'middle' version! Standard window but the rooms are 30 SQ FT bigger than a standard OV. My favorite room on Dream class ship. Great!
TheShayQueen Posted November 15, 2015 #16 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Does anyone know if this will be the same layout on Carnival Vista's deluxe OV's? I would love to be able to soak in the tub.
jmcancruise Posted November 16, 2015 #17 Share Posted November 16, 2015 We had a DOV a few years back on the DReam. Loved the tub, but it was not very big. I did however enjoy climbing in it after a tiring port day.
