Better for POM dropoff/shuttle to port- Hertz or Avis

Hi Everyone,

 

We are getting to Miami a couple days early and I have car rentals on hold with both Avis and Hertz for about the same price right now. Which one has a better return/shuttle experience?

I see more complaints on this board about Hertz being overwhelmed with cruise customers -- almost none for the Avis location. Some reports say Avis has a shuttle while others say you'll need a cheap ($10-12) cab.

 

I'd go with Avis, but it is your cruise. Good Luck! :)
