Online check in

Every cruise on my dashboard says I can get in the online check in after 90 days prior cruise. Is there a new policy or issue going on?

It's a new policy that started a few weeks ago.

That small of a window to process now. It doesn't make sense. Seem like it would cost more to monitor that than just have it open til the 3 days before.

I agree though I want to believe there's some good rationale for it. We like to go in and do as much of the check-in work as we can right after booking. I guess it's my compulsive side but now it will have to wait until 90 days out. :mad:

Not sure I understand what you are asking. You would use do the same thing you always do to get on the ship. The only difference is that you cannot fill our your online check-in info until less than 90 days before the cruise.

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. The online check-in is done via your reservation on the RCI web site as it provides all the information the cruise line needs to expedite your boarding. It used to be you could start online check-in right after you booked and paid your deposit but now it appears you cannot do that until 90 days prior to your cruise. Perhaps you're thinking of check-in at the port on day of embarkation?
