If you want to go to Seven Mile Beach, and don't want it to be crowded, your best bet is to go to one of the beaches that don't have a beach club, or are farther away from port. Another option is to skip Seven Mile all together and go to one of the other smaller beaches that are lesser known.

We would really like find a day cruise on a large catamaran that starts on SMB and returns there, We like big cat cruises. Any chance that we could go to SMB and find a nice cat ride there?

possibly, but you're best bet would be to check with the vendors when you get off the tender. There will be lots of tour companies offering all sorts of excursions right at the tender dock. That would be your best bet.....if you don't want to pre-book online.
