tm3750 Posted January 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2015 What is the name of the food service in the Solarium? I remember last time they had roast beef sandwiches and I seem to recall someone mentioning Pork sandwiches also. Has anyone been lately? Wanted to know what they are serving now

Cruzin RN Posted January 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Shh! Its a secret..open on boarding day when everyone is crowding into the windjammer, we are chilling by the pool, enjoying a light quiet lunch! Pumbaamd Posted January 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Wanted to know what they are serving now If we were both on board right now, the menu could change in the next ten minutes. No way to predict what your menu will be. They have a fair variety of sandwiches, usually roast beef, ham, turkey or tuna, Panini's and wraps. Some prepared salads. And usually a small salad station. Always a very good soup. Ask for a bag of Lay's potato chips. You will find something to enjoy for lunch, or an afternoon/evening snack. These guys work hard, give them a big thank you. LoriLoriLori Posted January 31, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Thank you Ray for your reply. I have two boys (ages 12 and 14) and didn't want to break any rules by going to Park Cafe. Thank you.
Pumbaamd Posted January 31, 2015 #12 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Find a table on the shady side. If you are sitting where the sun directly hits the glass, it gets really hot there. R&D

Podie Posted January 31, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Disembarked Enchantment on Monday. The solarium was clearly marked adults only, and they enforced it. Kids can eat at Park Cafe but then have to leave. They only had pork there on my cruise, no roast beef.

sassy0930 Posted February 1, 2015 #18 Share Posted February 1, 2015 I specifically booked our room close to the rear elevators so that we would be an easy jaunt from the Solarium/Park Cafe! Seems like a great place to hang out!

spookwife Posted February 1, 2015 #21 Share Posted February 1, 2015 The Solarium is adult only, correct? I am assuming the Park Cafe is adults only, or no? Nope. the POOL/Hot Tub area is 16 and up. the actual park cafe is open to all, and there is *just* enough separation between the two to make the impact of kids minimal.
