How far is Rum Point from the cruiseport? Taxi fare? Good snorkeling?

 

Rum Point is a 45 minute drive each way from the port area, and a taxi is NOT recommended. The fare would be approx. $80 US each way for up to 3 passengers, and you would need to pre-arrange the return trip as taxis are not generally found waiting in the area for fares. A rental car or excursion that stops there is a much more feasible way of getting to Rum Point when visiting by cruise ship.

 

The snorkeling is okay, and the facilities are nice, but not that much better than some of the spots closer to town.
