Emerald Riviera Deck question

I'm considering R734 and R738 on the Emerald Princess. Can anyone tell me if there is much noise from the Carib Cafe or the Terrace Pool? thanks, Sue.

That's usually a nice quiet area to catch some sun or read a book. It looks like a nice location to me.

No noise that we have heard, if we book Riviera deck its always in the 600-700 range. Preferably in the 700 range. great location close to the aft doors to the pool area.

Even if there is noise from the Caribe Cafe, it would not be all the time or every day. The Caribe Cafe is not open for all 3 meals or every day. Never did figure out the rhythm for when it is open.

So, it should be fairly quiet. :)

Not Aspenmom but we were in R742 on the CB last April for 2 weeks and had no noise issues. We loved the location due to its proximity to the Terrace Pool and Horizon Court / Cafe Caribe. The only minor issue we noticed was some vibration. However, that might be an issue specific to the CB and not relevant to the Emerald.

You're welcome. I just remembered that at the time we speculated that the vibration was very possibly related to the older configuration of Skywalkers. It extends all the way aft over the Terrace Pool (as opposed to being somewhat setback as it is on the Emerald, Crown and Ruby). Skywalker's itself had a great deal of vibration and we felt it was possibly transferring the vibration to the higher decks. However, just speculation on our part and certainly not a deal breaker.
