maryandmarge Posted January 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2015 We are sailing to the Western Caribbean in March and as this is a first time going to a Caribbean location can someone tell me what the dress code is in the main dining room in the evening. Do we have to bring dress slacks or will casual capris work? We will eat at the buffet for breakfast and lunch if we're not out on an excursion and we don't pay the cost to eat at the speciality restaurants. We are flying in from Ohio and spending 3 days in Florida before boarding the ship so we'll have our warm clothes from flying in from probably freezing weather (or going home to that) plus the clothes that we will be wearing on land before we board. I'm just hoping that this is a really laid back cruise and can save that space in my suitcase for something else. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Shorts are acceptable for the middle dining room. Long pants are required for the rear dining room.

noche_caliente Posted January 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I did see someone get turned away from The Seven Seas for not meeting the dress code, but it was a man in like sweat pants and a ratty t-shirt. I did see some gentlemen in nicer khaki shorts, and I saw jeans most nights too.
maryandmarge Posted January 26, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Thanks for all the help on this - think I'll just take one long and the rest in capris. Happy sailing everyone.
