Northern NJ to Manhattan NCL Port

Anyone familiar with shuttle/train/??? services from Northern NJ to NCL terminal (711 12th ave) in Manhattan? Parking appears very expensive

Not really. You could take a train or bus into the city, and take a taxi to the pier. We've driven, and used a car service. We are a family of seven, and it was a little cheaper to park.

We are a group of 4 and the parking appears to be $40 p/day, i.e. $280 and even a limo doesn't cost that much.

There aren't any shuttle/train services directly to the cruise pier. Where in NJ are you coming from? As mjkamom said you may want to consider a train from NJ in NY Penn Station and then a taxi to the pier, but are you near any NJ Transit lines? Another possibility (again depending on your point of origin) is a bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal and then a taxi to the pier.

It depends on where in NJ you are coming from. By us, parking would be cheaper than a car service.
