Papa's Italian Kitchen on the Jade

I have read that if there are no tables available in the buffet area, you can sit in the Italian restaurant at the back of the buffet. However, the deck plans show that the Italian is not available and it does not show in the dining options. Can anybody confirm what happened to this restaurant and what there is there now on the Jade?

Appears it's been renamed as La Cucina. ;)

Whatever its called now, as of last week, for breakfast and lunch, it was overflow seating for the buffet. Italian fakery at its best, with "wooden tables" made out of generic brown resin, and furry lino that looks like tiles. I sat there myself for lunch on Friday.

Yes, it is overflow seating for the buffet during lunch. I never found the lunch buffet to be crowded. There was ample seating.

Yes it is. It's $15.

 

Opinions are very mixed. I really like Italian but didn't think much of La Cucina.
