HMC Cabanas ants

I was in cabana #15 in May and had an ant problem. As soon as we opened the sliced fruit and dips there were tiny ants all over it. They were on the back counter and the table. I was worried I would be carrying them back in my beach bag. I'm looking to book one again this year and wonder if anyone else has had an ant problem.

Nope. But it is a relatively wild island.

There were ant traps in the cabinets but maybe they were old.

Never had a problem. Like any other place HMC has its share of insects and wildlife.

Good, sounds like it was an isolated incident. Maybe the next time I won't uncover the sliced fruit.
