Tell us about the deal you got!

For those of you, who were booked through the cas. Couple of weeks ago I booked the cruise on BA for August 2015. First and second guest were comped and 3rd $1124, plus we got UBP with it. As most of you already know casino department close on weekends, so wasn't able to go trough my host. Didn't want to wait till Monday and loose the deal, so yesterday I waited on the phone for 2 hours just to hear "sorry, there's nothing we can do since you are booked through casino. Call back Monday and see what can be done". Ok so that was yesterday. Didn't get too upset since my cruise was already comped. Today after reading lots of cc post I figure let me try it again. Have nothing to loose. Right. Call back today. Waited on the line for 1 hour and 10 min before someone pick up. Ask the same thing as yesterday and 15 min later with no problem or argument had price for 3 rd guest adjusted to a current rate. Safe $150 and was able to keep UBP. Very happy now! So, what I am trying to get out of this story, don't give up. If it doesn't work the first time, just try again.

I wound up calling the certificate redemption phone number (long wait, 1 hour plus) I saved $952 on 1 cruise, the 2nd cruise was more involved so it took quite a bit of time but I saved $533 on 1 room (all children) and paid more ($1430) so overall I paid $75 more per person on that combined booking but I gained (2) UBP, (2) soda cards, (8) UDP and $300 OBC which I did not have before. On top of that I did still keep my Haven/Non Haven rooms (H6/BD deck 9) with full access for all 8 of us. My family is going to be so shocked as they do not know I have put us in the Haven and for the same price a few years ago my brother paid the same for a balcony/inside combo with no perks. Overall between both bookings I saved about $200 but I gained so much more for my $. Well worth the wait time.

With the promo from yesterday that has been extended to today did anyone get a smoking hot deal?

I was hoping to book the breakaway for jan. 2017 but those dates are not out yet. Also I see for breakaway 2016, it's not kids sale free, it's 50% off.

Well, they do their weird math (have they been using common core math? LOL) but we managed to get a mid ship balcony for almost $600 cheaper than our family inside price. Yes, I lost my obc, but still came out about $300 ahead, even factoring that in and we managed to get the same exact balcony that we were able to get a free upgrade to on our last breakaway cruise. I'm excited. There are four of us, so other people may not see the same type of deal for them. For us, it was a no brainer. The room we had before I really enjoyed because I like the bed by the balcony so I can slip out there while the kids are sleeping. :D

I would make sure you have it in writing on an amenity confirmation that you are getting all three. Your TA has to be paying for at least two of them unless you are booked for Europe or Hawaii. I wouldn't want to get on the ship to find out I wasn't getting what I thought I was.

We do have conformation for all 3. I believe the TA is footing the bill for one. When canceling the connecting rooms and 4th person then upgrading to the mini suite for 3 people they screwed up and canceled 3rd person also. After straightening everything out.... Final out come was this deal for 3. But like I said we DO have conformation.

Notice in the USA there seems to be a lot of promos and TA helping out etc, on this side of the pond we don't seem to get that, until now.

I have booked a 16 day TA from Barcelona to Florida via stops in Madeira, St John's, St Kitts, St Maarten, St Thomas and last Port Canaveral, with four nights in Orlando, inclusive of flights to Spain and return from Orlando , plus transfer from Port to International Drive , BA mid-ship cabin deck 10/11 on the spirit for £1299 pp (approx. $1948)

On the NCL website no Balcony but oceanview for just the 16 day cruise (no stop over) it is £1307 ($1960)pp

Now, on the TA website the same deal that I got, has gone up £200 ($300) pp in just 3 months

It's strange that you can get a Balcony with the TA but not on the NCL website.

To me this seems a good deal

One was a new booking but I got 3rd and 4th kids sail free which saved me $600 for my large balcony and we also did it on the 31st and got the option to add the beverage package which saved us a good deal cause I like my drinks!!
