Hopefully some of them are still there Cruiser!!!! I'll be sailing Divina in April,,unfortunately not in the YC,,,damn "couples cruise" went ahead and booked the whole YC!!! We're hoping to see Guiseppe and Gabrielle in LeMuse,,,as well as Thomas,,Putra,,Adi and Johnny in the YC. Hopefully I'll be able to stop in and say hello to some of them,,,,

Thanks!

Mike, I know you feel the same as I do that the YC staff/crew are the best on any cruise line. We stay in touch with lots of them. Wish we were cruising MSC sooner but have several land trips and family time planned for the rest of the year. Have a regular YC suite booked for January but watching for one of the "special" cabins to show up in inventory.

We're booked in January as well,,,January 30th to be exact. We currently have a YC1 (16009),,,but may just change that to a Fantastica experience stateroom. We're trying to get to that coveted Black Level before Seaside arrives so earning points is paramount for us. Money spent for drink packages and the extras we would receive in YC can go towards earning points,,,,

We had the luxury on sailing the Divina in the yacht club for 21 nights. All I need to say is that if u have any major complaints about this product then perhaps a cruise is not for you.

It was perfection from beginning to end - no saying it like a snob, but if I could not get in the yacht club I would not take that cruise. I could not imagine sailing in a balcony cabin knowing that others are being so pampered.

Our first sailing aboard was next door to you (16009) while you were in the Sophia Loren Suite. Since then,,we have sailed in the other YC3 (Royal Suite) and loved it!!! Johnny,,,who you may remember,,,gave us another tour of the Sophia Loren suite while we were onboard back in August:

Would you please tell Vasant/"V" Mary Ann and Tom from Georgia say hello? Also give our regards to the staff in Le Muse. Hope you like the staff inYC as much as we did. They really know how to take care of you and make you feel pampered and special. Will be sailing Divina again in January 2016. Enjoy your cruise!!

Hi Mary Ann from Kathie and Danielle and Malachi! We're sailing Divina next week in the Sophia Loren suite! I will be sure to tell Vasant you said hello! Think about you all often!

Hi!! So good to hear from you. I've seen several of your postings about your cruises. The last time on the Divina, last November, Vasant was our cabin butler. I'd cruise every month if we could. Tied down somewhat by our doggie and a few land trips. I know you'll enjoy the SL suite. Hope you'll post pictures of your family and trip.

Looking at Divina for our next sailing, never been on MCS. We had an outstanding cruise on NCL Getaway in The Haven. Has anyone sailed both and could you give me the skinny on YC. Thanks for the help

Hello!

We had the fortunate experience of taking both cruises, as you inquired.

In February 2015, we sailed in The Haven on the NCL Epic, spent 6 days in FLL and then took another cruise on the MSC Divina in the Yacht Club.

I have to say that they are very different, but similar experiences,

The Epic experience was great. We loved all the dining venues, and the ship was very nice.

The Divina was a totally different animal, but wonderful, nonetheless - it is a beautiful, floating, piece of art.

Honestly, I preferred The Haven cabin on the Epic, with its floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom, and its 2nd bedroom (the MIL was with us). But, we had to get a few extra packages to make it nice; namely the Dining and Booze packages. They had a sale on when we booked, so got those at no extra charge from NCL by staying in The Haven.

The MSC Divina was an experiment for us. We booked a suite in the Yacht Club. Honestly, it was just as good as the NCL product, but was more refined. It was a great experience as well. The cabin was not as nice, but it wasn't "un-nice".

The Butler service on both ships were comparable and excellent.

On the Divina, we chose to eat in the YC Dining room every night. It wasn't the "any-time dining" I expected. MSC took care of an early or late seating to pair with the fantastic shows in the theatre.

On NCL, you are on your own to make these arrangements, except that if you book a show, a Butler will escort your party to a preferred seating area in the theatre.

With 15 Princess cruises behind us, and several others on HAL, Carnival (ICK!) and Regent, I would have to say that I have no regrets for choosing either NCL Epic Haven or MSC Divina Yacht Club.

It is all about experiencing different things.

Hope this helps.

Carl (and Brett)

Halifax, NS, Canada

Would I do either or both of them again? Absolutely!

Sailing on the MSC Divina in less than 3 weeks and will report back on the YC. The general consensus from what I read is that this is the best suite experience at sea.

SO JEALOUS! If you see Adi at the bar in the Top Sail or Putra (Butler) Please tell them Miss Michelle and Miss Kim say "hello" and we will be on the 4 day to Cozumel April 22nd :)

Thanks in advance!

Hey Mike,

Kim and I plan to try to see Adi and Putra if at all possible (without burning our retinas :p) and Giuseppe and several of the staff in Le Muse. Maybe we could make it a "field trip" ;)

PERFECT! You can be our tour guide..we'll just follow you. ;)

P.S. Please provide blinders

I'm pretty sure they have to wear clothes while inside the YC,,,I think the clothing optional part is only up at the One Pool so we should be safe unless we want to go and visit the One Bar bartender,:D

I am in the YC for 3 weeks on a grand voyage, please tell me its as good as the Haven on NCL:). I love the Haven, think the Epics one is too big and chavy, ugghh, but all the other ships are wonderful. I have only sailed MSC 3 times, not one of them was my fave cruise but the YC on MSC was less than a 1/4 of the price of the Haven, lets give it a try and go with an open mind.:D

Hi Claudia, the Haven on NCL is usually very quiet, not like me , but I like it because of the small ship atmosphere with a big ships facilities, loads to do but a quiet Haven to go back to. The pool is usually empty and the cabins up there are wonderful. I like having lunch or breakfast brought to me from any restaurant on the ship by a lovely butler. I like a totally separate living room in my cabin and 2 bathrooms and the coffee machine in the lounge/diner is ab fab. The bathroom is to die for, floor to ceiling windows above the bath and 2 peeps shower with loads of different jets. Best of all tho are the endless supply of gummy bears and M and M,s.

I have sailed in suites on a few different cruise lines and so far NCL win hands down, the concierges are wonderful and so very nice and just seem to know what will suit us. I hope MSC YC live up to my expectations of a suite. I hope for the Haven, but at the price I am paying I will not expect it.

Everyone enjoy your next cruise x
