ta41 Posted February 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2015 What is the earliest time you can board?
mnventure Posted February 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Our transportation company picked us up at our hotel around 9:30 and we were at port by 9:45. We were close to the front of the line, although some with priority were able to go through security ahead of us. We were still in Group 1 for boarding and were on the ship about 11:30. LrgPizza Posted February 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2015 It varies depending on how fast they can turn the ship around and get it ready from the previous cruise. We were boarding group 1, and boarding opened at 11:45. In general it is between 11:30 and 12.
roger001 Posted February 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2015 11:30 is a good average time to expect the ship to begin boarding. The port terminal usually opens for and begins processing in the new guests about 10:30. All of this is dependent on how quickly the ship can exit the previous guests. Several cruises back, the computer showed two guests still on the ship long after they should have been off. Don't know if it was a computer error, or lost guests, but it delayed boarding almost an hour.
